Asian cuisine with
a Western twist
Sophisticated, sex fresh
Red Ginger, in Tory St, is
very much a modern, western-

Its self-description, sophisti-

four of us dined there on Sunday
We found that Red Ginger
offered anything but your ordi-
nary Asian-style food menu.
Although I enjoy the many
options most Asian-style
eateries offer, having only seven

The food arrived and we

spiel about new management

I pointed out that given it was
advertised as $5, surely that
should be honoured.
Eventually, the man con-
ceded, though he seemed to be
offering it as a favour .
What really got me was that
the new management thought a
$10 corkage fee acceptable. It s
