The Tournament has kicked-off,
and the festivities for RWC 2011 in
Upper Hutt are well under way.

The Cossie Clubs Childrens Showcase Talent
Show Finals, are on Sunday 18th September,
and has two age groups up to 10 years and

Golder Cottage historic home and museum
will be Celebrating Heritage in Sport and
Recreation month with a display: Sporty
Golders, the family at play, every Saturday from
17th September. One of the earliest pioneer
homes of Upper Hutt, the preser ved cottage and
artifacts, refect early life in New Zealand in the
1870 - 1940s.
Silver Stream Railways Heritage train rides
will run every Sunday. Carriages are hauled
by one of several operational steam or diesel
locomotives over 1.5kms of a restored section
of the Hutt Valley Line (part of the Wairarapa
Line) that was used before a deviation was built

Bring your bikes, family and gumboots to the
Bike Hutts Cyclocross Series on Sunday
18th September. Cyclocross is cycling on a
cross-country course of obstacles, stop banks
and tight turns. Its hard, fast and muddy. Anyone
may enter on the day, at 8.30am for only $10.00.
